What’s the best food to eat before I workout?
Avoid large meals, fatty foods and solid protein. When you begin training your body will divert blood away from your digestive system, to aid the working muscles, which is unfortunate for the food left in your stomach. Aim to eat a complex carbohydrate meal about two hours prior to working out, and have a high glycemic food such as a banana 15 min's prior to working out.Remember to also take in plenty of fluid throughout the day, as well as sips of water or sports drink during your training.
